steinen som sprakk (the stone that cracked)
3D-printed sculptures that I created in NomadSculpt, for a duo-show in Bergen Norway.
The idea with these sculptures came from creating almost a custome out of bodydysmorphia, think anime/manga style transformations “Sailor Moon vibes”, whilst keeping the bodies undeniably masculine, and super feminine. The intention is perhaps to reclaim broken childhood hopes and dreams, being allowed to be a feminine boy dreaming of stardom and adventure.
20 sculptures made from air-dry terracota and papier mâché clay, wire and aluminum foil, painted and glazed. About 15-20 cm tall, lightweight.
The inspiration behind these works are mainly rooted in body dysmorphia, the hyper-focused eye on a specific or mutliple body-parts.
These were lit up, casting shadows on the walls of Gallery K4, with a workout compilation video of myself, projected onto the sculptures.

Digital portaits of friends and strangers.
These portaits were created using Procreate on Ipad, using images as reference, always attempting to bend and stretch the subject as much as possible, whilst staying true to the person.
